If sometimes you cannot sleep because you´re missing your partner, you may find interesting the idea of the Sesing Beds.
„The Sensing Beds domesticate communications devices by placing them in the bedroom. The beds mediate between two romantic partners who are not co-located by sensing body position in each bed and using a grid of small heating pads to warm the congruent points in the other bed. As an experiment in telepresence, they bridge the physical distance between two people who would normally share a bed, but find themselves sleeping apart. As an experiment in slow technology and emotional communication, they articulate users’ existing concerns about intimacy, trust and knowledge.“

My new website about Long distance Relationships is now online!! Please feel free to send me your comments, articles and forward it to your friends that may be going throught something similar. Don´t forget to click on the publicity, to support the website.

www.loveandculture.net

About the website:
This website is about me, about my experiences in a long distance relationship, that later became a stable and strong relationship, but it always still bicultural and multilingual.
Even if I do not write about myself, I collect all kinds of articles that represent the stages that I have experienced in my relationship.I think they are important for someone who is going through a long distance relationship, be it a bicultural or international relationship.
You will find articles in three (or more) different languages. I decided to do that, because I will never have the time to translate everything I find, so I will leave them like that. Anyways, when I´m speaking about culture… culture is something that you cannot easily translate!
