2004 wurden in Deutschland 56.238 Eheschließungen mit Auslandsbeteiligung durchgeführt. Dabei haben die meisten deutschen Frauen Männer aus der Türkei und europäischen Ländern geheiratet. Die deutschen Männer hingegen haben sich für Frauen aus Polen und anderen osteuropäischen Ländern entschieden. About the website:
This website is about me, about my experiences in a long distance relationship, that later became a stable and strong relationship, but it always still bicultural and multilingual.
Even if I do not write about myself, I collect all kinds of articles that represent the stages that I have experienced in my relationship.I think they are important for someone who is going through a long distance relationship, be it a bicultural or international relationship.
You will find articles in three (or more) different languages. I decided to do that, because I will never have the time to translate everything I find, so I will leave them like that. Anyways, when I´m speaking about culture… culture is something that you cannot easily translate!
